Fears

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

This is why I hate Mac

Question:
"You know when you plug an ipod into your mac or an external hdd, and the icon for it appears on the right side of the desktop? How could I change it so things such as these appear on the left side, and really, change leopard to put all icons on the left side? The reason I ask is because I like having my contact list for adium on the right, but it blocks icons and such."

Answer:
"Going from Windows to Mac is like going to one of those foreign countries where you drive on the opposite side of the road. Your (close minimize maximize) buttons are on the other side, your AIM messenger is on the other side, and so are all your icons.

[ And then the most common answer to most of Mac related questions ]

Easiest thing, get used to it. I assume its going to happen every time you download something to your desktop. Really, it does not take that long to adapt."

Me:
Fuck off.
